An MP (Keith Hill) has come to the defence of a cat lover told by a town hall to move her weekly fundraising stall away from a high road. Lambeth council ordered 72-year-old Dawn Travers from her spot outside the Odeon cinema in Streatham High Road to nearby Gracefield Gardens. The money she raises goes toward feeding her sick and injured cats. ... Following MR Hill's support, the council said she could return to the high road, as long as she did not too take up too much spare.
Since MP Keith Hills' help, no stall
Although this item appeared, the cats rescue stall has still not appeared.
Steve and Sheila(and the cats of course) are mewing for your pennies, or if you can afford it, your pounds, tins or packets of catfood, or anything that may be suitable to aid rehoming cats...This could be your time to collect, or sell on boot sales, or transport(sometimes late at night...
